Holly Throsby is a songwriter, musician and novelist from Sydney, Australia. She has released four critically acclaimed solo albums, a collection of original children’s songs, and an album as part of the band, Seeker Lover Keeper. Holly’s debut novel, Goodwood, is being published by Allen & Unwin on September 28, 2016.

Holly has been nominated for four ARIA Awards – including two for Best Female Artist, and one for Best Children’s Album. She has toured at home and abroad with artists such as Joanna Newsom, Bill Callahan, Paul Kelly, M. Ward, The Tallest Man On Earth, Devendra Banhart, Mark Kozelek and The Handsome Family. She has collaborated on recordings with Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billy, Jack Ladder and Hayden.

Holly is a council member for the animal protection institute, Voiceless. She likes good books, cryptic crosswords, small towns, and dogs.
