Select Music opened its doors in 2005 with the dream of being a multifunctional music company covering all facets of the industry. We are based in Sydney, Australia and have come along way from our humble beginnings when our artist roster was two acts.
We are an agency that looks after some of the country's hottest acts. Our mantra right from the start was that we wanted to represent acts that we love and find exciting. It didn't matter how diverse the genre may be or if the acts were unknown (which pretty much every act we have represented was). Since our beginnings we are proud as punch to know that we have helped unearth many artists that are now playing major venues and festivals across Australia & regularly feature on radio playlists nationwide, with many featuring every year in JJJs hottest 100 lists.
We are also a touring company that has presented over 50 international tours of artists that are every bit as diverse as our roster, including Crystal Castles, Public Enemy, Royal Crown Review, Cypress Hill, Does It Offend You Yeah & House Of Pain.
We are venue consultants who handle bookings for some of Sydney's most iconic live venues like The Gaelic and Spectrum. Our venues have presented shows from the biggest names in the music industry, as well as up and coming Australian artists looking to break through.
We promote events and have put together Coaster festival on the central coast of NSW every September. Now in its fourth year, it has become an iconic event within its community and features the biggest Australian acts as well as internationals.
We are a group of passionate music loving people based around the leadership of the experienced duo of Stephen Wade and Rob G, who love what we do and strive to grow with the amazing artists we are lucky enough to work with.
