Highline

Having spent their formative days rehearsing on school lunch breaks after first playing music together in their school jazz band, Sydney four-piece Highline are carving out a bright future for themselves armed with their warm, genre-blending indie rock.

Highline’s 2021 EP ‘Off Track’ followed the release of singles ‘Staying Sane’ and ‘Chasing Heaven’, as well as their return to the live stage with the ‘Staying Sane’ launch show at a sold out Oxford Art Factory in Sydney.

The releases were met with a stack of praise from the likes of MTV Australia, Life Without Andy, Tone Deaf, Ticketmaster, The Music, triple j and triple j Unearthed to name a few, as well as an abundance of Spotify playlist support including New Music Friday AU/NZ, Indie Arrivals, Fresh Finds, The Local List, Coast To Coast,
Local Noise, and Fresh Finds: Indie.

Despite the pandemic cutting things short, 2020 also saw flourishing achievements from the quartet, including an addition to Spotify’s Fresh Finds: Six Strings playlist, a #2 position on the triple j Unearthed Charts, a live performance on Melbourne community radio station Triple R, and multiple sold out hometown shows including the Oxford Art Factory and Lansdowne Hotel.
